Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a one-on-one therapeutic process between a trained counselor and a client. The primary goal is to help the client explore and address personal challenges, emotional difficulties, or mental health concerns in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment.

Counseling for Children

Therapy with play is unique in that it allows children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through play, which is their natural language. Rather than relying on verbal communication alone, children are able to process emotions, and work through problems using toys, games, art, story telling, and imaginative activities.

Teens & Young Adults

Counseling teenagers and young adults is unique because it bridges the gap between childhood and adulthood - an intense period of identity formation, emotional development, and life transitions. This age group often faces a complex mix of challenges and pressures that require a flexible, developmentally informed approach.

Supervised Visits

Supervised visitation can be a court ordered arrangement that allows a parent to spend time with their child while a neutral third party is present. This structure is designed to ensure the child’s safety and well being during visits, while sill allowing meaningful parent child interaction. A trained supervisor is present during the visit to observe and support positive interactions. The supervisor may provide feedback to the court as needed.

LPC Supervision

LPC Supervision is a collaborative relationship between an LPC-Associate and an LPC-Supervisor. The supervisor provides regular oversight, feedback, and mentorship as the associate gains hands-on counseling experiences. This ensures that emerging counselors deliver safe, ethical, and effective services while continuing to grow professionally.

Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is a structured form of therapeutic intervention that incorporates animals into the treatment process to support emotional, psychological, and physical healing. Studies show that AAT can help reduce anxiety, increase social interaction, lower blood pressure, and improve mood and self esteem. AAT can also be helpful in reducing symptoms of trauma and depression. AAT can help clients practice relationship skills, boundaries, and trust.
