LPC Supervision

Patricia Crow, M.Ed, LPC, LPC-S

As a person centered counseling supervisor, Patricia is a supportive, empathetic, and collaborative professional who applies the principles of person-centered therapy to the supervisory relationship. This approach is grounded in the belief that supervisees, like clients, grow best in an environment of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness.

The person centered supervisor:

  • Fosters a safe, nonjudgmental space where supervisees feel free to explore their thoughts, feelings, and professional challenges without fear of criticism.

  • Trusts the supervisee's inner capacity for growth, encouraging self-reflection and personal insight over directive instruction.

  • Models authenticity and transparency, helping supervisees develop their own therapeutic identity.

  • Focuses on the supervisory relationship, believing that the quality of this relationship is central to the development of the supervisee.

  • Encourages autonomy, empowering supervisees to trust their clinical judgment and develop confidence in their unique approach to therapy.
